I used a few of these throughout my home for some landscape lighting and lamps. Most recently for our Christmas tree. They work great and extend the range of the smart home options as a mesh network. Great product.

We purchased so we could regulate lights at our second house. But it works even if you are in the next room and want to turn the light on for someone who is coming through the door and hands are full.

Hooking this to a Google home though the Smartthings system could not be easier. Plug in. Detect. Name the outlet. Save. Within seconds it was ready to work with voice controls.

I use the Samsung smart hub to control lamps around the house and these Smart outlets work great with Google home and timed events. Super easy to set up and add more units.

Sync'd up to SmartThings Hub in seconds. There is an audible 'click' when used but from what I've found that's going to be present in most all of these types of switches.

Super convenient for things you want to cut on and off with echo and smart things. I used it for all my Christmas lights and it work exactly like I wanted!

This is an excellent outlet and I now own 4 of them. The instructions are simple.and it takes approximately 5 minutes to connect to the Smart Things Hub. I use three Samsung outlets to turn the tv on and off and fourth one to turn a lamp on and off. Another big positive, is that you can voice control these outlets via Alexa when you connect Smart Things to Amazon Alexa.

Great switch. Plugged in and synced using the app immediately. Using to trigger a relay to open/close a garage door. Works flawlessly.

Use this outlet to run christmas lights. No need to go outside to plug in all the extension cords. just a tap on the phone, so easy!

This is my third one. These outlets are very easy to connect to smart thing unlike some of the other brands. I'm very satisfied.

Works great. I use this to light up a door area remotely between garage and basement which can be seen by a camera. Recent heavy rains caused water to collect in the garage and enter the basement. This way if I am not home and I know there are heavy rains I can turn on the remote switch lighting the door area so I can view with my wifi camera. I did have a case where the socket got turned off in my smartthings app but once I realized the problem I corrected it. It does take a couple seconds to turn the light on but not a big deal.

Easy day! I plugged it in and the hub found it immediately. Currently using it for the Christmas tree. Easy to set up and use.

It is easy to set up and easy to use. It pairs to the smartthing hub fast. I am only giving 4 stars because you can't turn the lamp on or off without the app or Google. Manual turn on and off from the switch is not available.

Love this device - the ability to turn lights and appliances on and off from my phone is just what I was looking for.

I've tried many brands and models, but this one is really compatible with everything and very reliable for use.

Smaller formfactor, act as zigbee repeater, use for not only lamp. The only issue I have is how to automaticcally turn OFF the unit after turning ON in Automation. Bought 6 during a sale about $22 a piece.

it works very well in the christmas tree. I set up to turn it off when sunrise and turn on when sunset

All the Samsung SmartThings devices have been flawless and connected immediately with no resets.
