I bought this for the led lights behind my projector screen. It works works great with my Samsung SmartThings hub and harmony hub. Lights that are plugged into it come on when I turn on my entertainment center on and go off when I turn everything off!! Plug has never failed.

Use this to connect my NES Classic Mini. I have a smart remote and use this so I don't have to manually turn on/off the system. Not necessary but it's a great item to have. It is bulky and can take up some outlet real estate.

I have a single cup coffee maker without a timer. This smart plug has become my timer. I can make my coffee the night before, plug it into this baby and have fresh hot coffee when I wake up in the morning with no waiting!

Smart power outlet used with SmartThings automation to turn on and off greenhouse lights. Setup was the usual SmartThings discovery - needs to be plugged into an outlet near your hub, but otherwise simple to add.

Had to upgrade my old system as it was no longer supported. Some of my old plugs worked with Smart Things but many did not. I got these and they work great. Setup was a breeze!

My house is wired up with smartthings. I've replaced some of my other not so great smart plugs with the Samsung Smartthings plug, and it works flawlessly with my Smartthings hub.

Ever time i see this on sale i pick one up. This smart outlet has never disconnected from the hub like cheaper one do. Connects in three clicks on the smartThings app.

Easy to pair, works well, allows access to second outlet which other smart plugs do not...they block just enough that you can plug anything else in. This ones does NOT...it allows other things to be plugged into the second outlet.

Connected to Smartthings hub and set up on a schedule to replace the Iris switch I previously had. Only reason I did not give it a 5 star is that I had to try a few times before the hub recognized it. Once set though it works great.

I've had other systems that were not that easy to link to the hub. So far the items I've linked to SmartThings have given me no issues installing.

I have a bunch of these devices as well as some others that I used with my Lowe's IRIS system. These from Samsung are great. Highly recomended.

I bought this to use as a repeater for a battery operated temperature sensor that is slightly out of Zigbee range. It seems to be working better but is still not 100% reliable. The reason for the 4-star rating is that Samsung provides absolutely NO tools for troubleshooting Zigbee or Z-Wave issues. I cannot even tell for sure that the sensor is using the repeater in the outlet. It would be nice to see what the Zigbee topology looks like so I can move things around until it is a reliable. In general, SmartThings works very well but this issue is a real pain in the neck. Ditto for Z-Wave issues as well.

This product works just as advertised. Even though my ST hub is upstairs, it pairs with this outlet without any issue. It seems a bit bulky since you can't easily put two of them into one standard outlet.
