Using as a Zigbee Repeater
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really purchased this plug as a Zigbee repeater, I was having connectivity issues with a motion sensor in my garage, my smartthings hub is in my basement and this plug has done the trick by bridging the gap. Only items that plug in (not battery operated) work as repeaters.

Works well for what I need it

Connected fine to the Smartthings Hub. For notifications to work during an all house power loss, a UPS is also required so the Internet connection is not lost.

Extended my SmartThings Zigbee network great!

Been working with no issues for six months now.

I like how small this is compared to other smart plugs that can be bulky.

Good Zigbee Outlet

It reports power usage. My only gripe is that I wish they would report the current, voltage, and kWh, too. (I am guessing a custom device handler could do it if I look for one)
