So far it's been pretty good no problems with it I'm able to store all my games that I play and pretty simple to connect to my computer.

I am, by no means, a power user of electronics and computers. This external hard drive was easy to use and did everything I wanted in a very quick period of time. I had my photos scattered on a bunch of flash drives. They are all in one place in an easy to find and organized place. The transfer took longer than I thought, but all my photos barely took up any space on this 2TB product.

Super fast and compact. It wreally crunched through a big download and made my day shorter.

I'm still amazed that so much data can be recorded in such a small device. The solid state 'disk' made a backup of my entire file structure in about 20 minutes, and restored it to another machine equally fast. On my Mac, I will now use it for Time Machine continuous backup in the background. Purchased for a very good price because there is a newer faster model (which speed I don't really need - yet). Very helpful that it comes with two cables for different computer connections, and that it doesn't need a separate power supply.

Remarkably good purchase open the door to my eyes as Samsung being an exceptional electronics company, rather than just boom boxes, TVS and other static products It works efficiently although it's an older generation and it lives up to its speed standards and quality. I've mentioned Samsung products before and different reviews across the Internet for companies And I've associated them with the quality of Sony at its peak which is truly a boast. Reason I did not give this item 5 rating is that Samsung had faster chips available I've held the progress down a little bit possibly to meet American standards, Something Sony never did. Plus, it was very costly at the time, And was missing the exceptional Samsung program support at the later versions would have proving Samsung is more than just hardware but also software company as well, and maybe growing in that arena.

After having several My Passport drives fail me (I only used them after the first failure since I had them on hand), I switched to the T7s. These handy little drives have proven themselves over and over! Very happy with them and their performance. I use these drives for photographs, and they log lots of miles, in and out of the vehicle and working in dusty/dirty environments. Very pleased with the Samsung T7 Shields. In fact this newest purchase was to set up and be ready to rock and roll for the new year. Thank you Samsung!

The Samsung T series of external SSD hard drives are well known for its speed and build quality. The kicker this time around is the rugged rubberized build. With the T5 and T3 I've banged them up and scratched it quite a bit, but with this one you can't go wrong and have no worries of banging it around. For the price that these are coming at now, you owe it to youself to own multiple of these. It's blazing fast for what it is, and very compatible with many platforms. i've found no issues using it between my Mac and PC, and already own two of these.

Same T7 Speed + Rugged, works great. I use this for my on the go storage needs. Plus helps i dont need to take up more space in my bag with a case.

I needed a device to save and password protect my sensitive documents as I travel often and work remotely. The T7 Shield was on sale so decided to try it out. It fits my needs perfectly. Not only is it compact but the rate of transfer is extremely fast. It was easy to set up and did not have any hang-ups or delays when transferring files. So far it's worth the 5 star rating.

Works great! Mostly using for family photos and need the space. Fast speeds and easy to use! Glad that it comes with both usb-c and usb-a cords to connect to multiple devices.

Works as expected. Able to get my files backed up to this drive with no problem. Small enough not to take up a lot of desk space.

I have been on the lookout for an external drive and this one is just what I needed. It’s small, fast and durable. The setup is literally plug and play on my HP Spectre x360 Windows laptop running Windows 10. The drive comes with Samsung software right at the root of the drive, for enabling encryption and firmware updates. I don’t care to encrypt it at this point and there weren’t any updates, but the software interface is simple and intuitive. I performed some speed tests on the drive and on my internal SSD (HP Spectre x360). My internal SSD was the fastest at 1550 MB/s sequential reads. With USB-C the T7 did 1057 MB/s sequential reads and with USB-A it did 460 MB/s sequential reads (see attached screenshots). Pros: -Small -Fast -Durable -Comes with two cables, one for USB-A and one forUSB-C Cons: -None that I found Final Thoughts: The Samsung T7 Shield is an excellent external USB drive. It is rugged and fast. The compatability across Windows, Mac and Android is great and the fact the drive comes with the software embedded is a plus. I would definitely recommend this drive to anyone.

Made my laptop run better with the extra space and easy to use

I bought this as a memory storage device for my first trip to El Salvador, and had over 2,450+ photos taken, and approximately 150+ videos,, and i believe I used about 20% of the space. This is the best portable hard drive i have ever utilized. Extremely lightning fast transfer speeds, I've never carried so much storage space within such a small item. Its unbelievable how much storage is able to be stored nowadays.

This SSD is portable, quick, and durable. As a DJ drinks, drops, and shaking is quite common and this beast doesn’t let up!
