Just love this Drive everything about it is just great, the size and the speed also that its Rugged and water resistant gives me a peace of mind since I'm always working in places where most of my gear are expose to the elements.

Used with a windows 11 desktop, no issues or compatibility errors as of 90 days from when I got it.

If you’re looking for an external SSD I highly suggest trying the T7! I’ve been using the T7 for the past month for gaming, streaming, and music producing and I couldn’t be happier with it. I have a MSI GL66 laptop which sadly only has 500GB of storage — and if you’re into gaming you know that it isn’t a lot lol — I was suggested by a friend the Samsung T5 but when looking it up it was $250. I saw the T7 in the suggested and decided to try it out because it was only $80 and had good reviews. And like I said, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It’s fast, high quality, shield protected, and cheaper than most other options. So if you’re looking for an external SSD I highly suggest trying it out!

This is the best external hard drive. I use it for holding raw images for storage and it's a powerhouse external hard drive.

Extremely fast and super small and lightweight. I have games installed on it and im able to play them whithout any problems.

Bought this to use with my M2 Macbook Air as I always feel its better to expand external storage than buy a larger internal for the same amount of money. I do audio recording and video editing with files directly off of it and there’s no issues with buffering. File transfers go extremely fast so it really doesn’t feel like external storage. If you use any computer that supports the highest Thunderbolt/USB connections I highly recommend it. Definitely also a bonus that it’s extremely portable and durable

I love the speed of this SSD drive anyway, However, today, I was SO relieved I had decided to buy this Samsung shield hard drive! The moment It fell off my desk & hit the floor, my heart sank..... I feared losing all my work (as I'd done before with a different external drive). I plugged it back in, held my breath & started searching my folders..... exhale!!! Because I chose the extra sturdy drive ..... no files were lost or damaged. In the future, I shall ALWAYS buy the Samsung ssd portable shield drive. My work is far too valuable !!

Absolutely love this storage. Its easy and fast to move videos and pics from my phone to my Ipad pro. The speed is so so fast and this is such a light weight item. I definitely will buy another when i need it. I've erased and used so many times to make videos and YouTube stuff. O definitely recommend it. Its hardcore because of the case its in if it were to fall.

I bought two of these and a T9 for an external scratch disk and backup. It is an astounding product. Finally, something that can take advantage of my Macbook Pro's M3 Max speeds and connectivity. Thank you Samsung.

This is a fantastic product! I was skeptical at first but found that 1 TB is more than what I needed for what I do! As a music producer I wanted to limit the amount of vsts and plugins I put natively on my MacBook and this has saved at least 100GB of storage on my computer. The best part about it is that you can encrypt it. This requires that you install the software that works wonderfully on MacOS. It’s definitely a greater sense of peace felt knowing that if it’s stolen the only way to access the information is by entering a password or taking it out by dismantling the product and bypassing encryption(I doubt anyone would go through this unless you’re the president)! Overall a great product and well worth the price as SSD is safer than HDD. I definitely wish I was able to get 2TB for future use but I doubt I’ll need it anytime soon! If you’re looking for a small yet affordable ssd this is definitely a great purchase and an overall great investment! If you are clumsy like me definitely check out the T7 shield! An added bonus is that the product comes with usb c and a cords! My only problem was trying to figure out how to properly install the software but after checking Samsung’s website it was made more clear than the instructions that come in box! If you’re not used to installing 3rd party software on MacOS there are plenty of YouTube videos entailing how!

This drive is real fast. I mean, really really fast. I was able to copy over 1000 video and photo files from my computer to this drive in little over 2 mins. (That is 14 GB data.) Also, the drive looks really appealing and robustly designed. The drive doesn't seem to heat up even after consistent use and hence doesn't lose performance with aggressive usage. I would highly recommend this product.

I've been using the Samsung T7 Shield 2TB for a couple of years now, and it's been rock solid. Super fast speeds, really compact, and the rugged design has saved me more than once from drops and spills. The IP65 water and dust resistance is awesome for travel or just tossing it in a bag without worry. I’ve never had any issues with reliability or performance—just plug it in and it works every time. If you need a tough, portable SSD that can handle everyday bumps and adventures, this one’s a no-brainer.

This device is so easy to use, love that it can connect to USB-C, and has easy to grip coating. Has more than enough storage to back up my entire computer.
