    I've had a great experience with Samsung SSDs in the past and this is another stellar performer. I typically edit at home but if I need to travel I grab my laptop and work drives and hit the road. I have some other-branded SSDs which have been fine but I think I may replace those with more of these for reliability as well as shock and water protection.

    Worked like a charm. The data transfer to this SSD - which amounted to more than a terabyte - took far less time than it would have taken using a mechanical disk drive as the archival device. It was so good that I have shelved plans to buy a larger mechanical disk drive for backup. This much smaller and much faster device should satisfy my archival needs for both documents and photographs for years.
