So far I have nothing but God things to say about this player especially when viewing 4K movies

This is an amazing Blu-Ray player. The profile and footprint are sleek and small. Easy to use and link with my Samsung television. Quality of the videos is amazing - even 2D looks like 3D at times. The remote is intuitive, and very functional. Nice match for the Samsung television.

Easy to use, easy to install, plays UHD 4k great, as well as other formats. I like this unit very much.

I thought it would only make 4k movies play and play well. But after i put a regular blu-ray movie in the 4k player it really did some kinda magic cause it made theese movies even better cause i watched them on another tv with a blu-ray player that supposed to upconvert to 4k but was not even close

I purchased the 8500 for UHD playback and have not been disappointed. It was easy to setup and easy to use. Very responsive controls. Simple / basic remote control. Great BD upconverted playback. Nice feature of the USB input on the front that allows for streaming of 4K content in 264 and 265. Great work Samsung!!

I purchased this DVD player I wanted to see true 4K movies on my Sony 4K television. This player does an amazing job and even though there are just a handful of true 4k movies out there the upscaling on the older Blueray movies and able to watch Vudu movies in UHD are amazing.

The blue ray wouldn't eject from the player. Other than. That it plays good and the picture is the best I've ever seen

The Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra Blu-ray Player will compliment any 4K TV. It's reasonably priced is very easy. It's very close to a plug and play hookup. Once connected a couple of simple questions are asked for input , and then you're ready to experience a great picture.

The new Samsung 4K UHD player was first to the market, but it is a great product and will hold it's own against any rival 4K players. Picture, color, and sound quality is everything you could expect of 4K, and playback of Blue Ray and standard definition DVD's look better than ever thanks to great up scaling.

Very good 4K 3D blu ray player that is very easy to use. In addition, Best Buy priced matched the amazon price which was a bonus. Paired with my new LG OLED65E6P, the picture was just unbelievably clear and almost as if your were at a live performance not watching a disc!!

Got this unit when I bought a 4K tv. Unit does a great job upconverting blu ray discs. Remote is a bit small (seems to be where engineers are heading with size for all remotes), but easy to use once you are familiar with the layout. Great selection of preloaded apps.

Very easy set up and really makes the movies you watch clearer and brighter. Love all the apps that come with the device. Enjoy watching movies on Netflix as well as my movies on blu ray. You can also go online with the web browser. So much better then my old boy ray player.

This is a really nice player. It plays 4k blu-rays and also enhances other movies played in it to high definition video. It works really well and even enhances DVDs to exceptional picture quality. I think that you will be very happy with a purchase of this wonderful player.

I have had an Xbox One S since launch that I use for me on my own 4K Samsung KS8000. But i bought this 4k blu ray player for my parents to replace their old 2008/9 Sony Bluray player that had seen better days. It took that old player forever to load a disc, and was super loud when it was on or playing a disc. My parents bought a 60inch Vizio TV in 2015 that's 1080p but I figured if they were going to get a new player it might as well be future proof. Been using it for a couple months and so far all positive. When you put a disc in, it starts playing within 3-5 seconds. Almost instantaneous. That may seem insignificant but it's appreciated coming from something that took like a minute to get going. It also plays 4k blu ray discs, it just scales them down to 1080p, so that's kind of good to know. It's extremely fast and responsive. I love the touch sensor controls and curved design. Movie and audio are great.

this is a wonder full blue ray dvd player, the picture that this little machine delivers is out standing, it also makes any other dvds you look much much better, i would highly recommend this as an add on item to any one that owns a 4k tv now, a big thumbs up for this product

The product is attractive & simple to use. We just paid $199 for this player which is normally priced at $399. So a great product, for a great price and the ability to watch movies at home in ultra hd 4k quality.

The Samsung - UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player is the first to play 4k discs and has some bugs that need to be worked out. That said, I would still recommend it to those early adopters that are willing to deal with those bugs. When it works, the picture is spectacular. I think that with firmware updates it will continue to improve.

Picture is amazing, unit is quiet and remote is easy to use. I purchased this to go along with my new 4k TV and I'm very satisfied. The upscale on original DVD's is top notch and my old non blu ray movies look excellent. The setup is easy and is a quality product.
