Solid price for this leak detector. So far so good - no issues.

This is the second leak sensor that I purchased from Samsung. It is compact and works very well with the SmartThings hub and well with other smart hubs It helps that it was also priced competitively at Best Buy.

Instructions for pairing and use are deficient, but easily addressed by speaking to SmartThings tech support on the phone. After pairing, could not get the leak detector to notify me of a leak, without additional guidance provided by tech support on the phone walking me through the alerts set up process.

I'm using this by the water heater and under sinks to catch leaks before they cause significant damage. Hopefully, I never get the alert! I like how the new model has the contact sensors on both the bottom AND the top!

This product seems to work as advertised. It was easy to pair with the smartthings hub. I tested it by pouring a small amount of water on the floor and the sensor detected the water. Fortunately I have not had any real water leaks.

Works as well as prior model which I still use. Has the additional feature of top oriented contacts along with bottom contacts to trip sensor. Has good signal to reach the smart hub. Definitely a winner.

Works well with Samsung Smart Things ecosystem for monitoring for water leakage in the house and garage. Depending on battery freshness, you may get some buggy false alarms. Lithium ion CR3 battery lasts a few month.

I have about 10 of these sensors paired with my Smartthings hub. They work well, with good battery life. I like the fact that it can detect water on both top and bottom. Also reports temperature.

The Water Leak Sensor is designed to alert you at the first sign of moisture and is not waterproof. I tested the sensor and it worked as expected with my Smartthings hub. The only downside is its battery operated and located in a closed water heater compartment.

Big fan of smart things. This sensor works great. Placed it behind toilets, next to boiler and under faucets. Tied it in a network with an automatic shutoff valve incase leaks detected.

I can’t give 5 stars because it’s not amazing, but it does do exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have this located near my sump pump and have it integrated with IFTTT for quick notifications if I ever have high water. Works exactly as it should.

Purchased this to monitor things like a hot water tank. So far it is sending signals and I am hoping it never actually has to detect water!

Had a ATT Digital system with a large monthly charge, Replaced with the Samsung Smartthings and it works great, no central monitoring but direct notifications to your phone.

Pulled battery teather and blinked Red/Green paired with smart things in minutes. Tested in small amount of water took 2+ hours to goto Dry. Not a big deal. Nice there’s a CR 123 Battery rather than a “nickel” style.

I recomend Samsung smarthings to evryone that would like to keep track of a residents activities and have peace of mind. love all their products

Just installed a new kitchen and dont want any leaks so having this will sure make it easier to detect one if it were to leak under our sink. My only issue would be that there's no audible warning like some of my other sensors throughout the house.

The sensor has worked very well as a thermometer for my water heater closet, I guess I should be happy I haven't had a leak yet to test the water sensor.

I am glad they updated the design to sensor on top and bottom as most leaks would drip from above so it makes much more sense than the previous model

I got this on sale for the peace of mind under my washer. Configured to I will receive test and email for water leaks. Using it with my SST hub.
