The new sensor from Samsung is great. I used it in my laundry room and my basement and the signal strength is great. Smartthings did a good job with this sensor.

Well this is replacing an existing sensor that I have and not sure what happened but I have about 12 of these leak sensors and three of them keep going offline and so require a reinstall. I would have these because I want to know if the faucets, toilets or water heaters leak so it is important that the water leak sensors stay up and running as the potential damage a water leak can cause is really really high dollar and not to mention the pain you would need to go through if you had to replace drywall if you did have a big water issue.

I have not had a water leak so I guess I haven't truly tested it but I did get it we when I bought it. Works great! I really like the temperature read out.

Super easy to connect to the Smart Things Hub. I have several in different areas of the house that could pose leaking problems and damage my wood floors.

Great functional product. The beauty is in the simplicity of this. It does one thing and does exactly that. No complaints at all.

I did a test and it appears to work however in my instance, there was a couple minutes of delay notification. I wish there was an audio beep in case your phone isn't around you to see the notification.

I have night serval if these and they are great Little devices to let me know if water it decreed it has already help.

I got eight of these and tested them all, they all work great. Probably one of the best SmartThings devices and an essential part of a smarthome.

A slight different in size that previous predecessor but overall great addition to my existing system. Pretty easy to install as well.

Already saved my basement from flooding. Only had it a week and got a notification that I had water.

Perfect add on to the SmartThings hub... now I can get an alert to prevent future problems and damage.

I've tested the water leak sensor by pouring some water on it. Was notified quickly plus I can also tell on my SmartThings app the temperature to avoid freezing pipes.

Purchased to monitor water heater in attic. Notified me when it started leaking. That was good. But did not work after being submerged. So it was good for one time.

Brought as a Christmas fir my sister she requested it since she is all into the tech stuff

Works. Easy to use. That reminds me, needs a new battery.,... so it tells me regularly! ?:-)

I would recommend this product to anyone! It completely met my expectations.

This is the newer version which now has two sensors, one on top and other on bottom.
