We had recently had a plumbing leak a while back and decided to get and install a few of these sensors. Paid for themselves when we were able to catch another leak before it caused any damage.

I have installed these sensors at sump pumps to get early warning of water backing up. The sensors are working well, was easy to pair with the hub, and the app is self explanatory.

I use Samsung Smart Things to monitor my home. This unit is placed behind my washer. During my tests, a small amount of water sets it off, giving my plenty of time to respond.

Sets up in minutes and to power required. For only $20 you can't go wrong. I set mine up so if it detects water it turns the power off to my well pump, no shutoff valve needed.

I purchased this to connect to my Samsung Smartthings hub and it was very easy to install. I use this to monitor for any leaks under my kitchen sink.

Have water sensor tucked into water heater drain pan for leak detection. Nice piece of mind. Can have SmartThings alert on phone if any leaks

Easy to install and easy to setup using smartthings app. You can create automation to control water valve. Can create automation to send notifications.

Works. I tried it in the wash bowl. It dried quickly and reset after every test. It now sits on my sump cover waiting for the pump to malfunction.

The sensor caught a broken sump pump the 3rd night I had it. I have it hooked up to my adt SmartThings hub. Fortunately it woke me up before any real damage was done.

After having our sump pump back up, this little sensor is wonderful!! Very sensitive and puts us at ease especially when we travel.

I have 3 of these for toilets and my water heater. They've helped me once with a plumbing problem, so definitely worth the small investment!

Area has been dealing with flooding for most of this year. Nice to have something reliable monitoring my basement. Small price for peace of mind.

I love the Samsung - Water Leak Sensor - White. These are hard to find, but they work great and the price is just right!

Works good so far with no complain the good thing is can detect both top and bottom of sensor,, now this device can help monitor if any leak will notify me.

Purchased to place near my furnace where the condensation unit failed a few times. Responsive and the design is a little better than the old one. Hoping to see if battery life will be as good as the previous model.

I use this to detect rain and in turn run a pump outside my home. It stays connected. It detects well. It recovers well. One side note. This is my second unit The first one I had next to the pump and it often floated in a puddle causing it to eventually fail. It finally dried out a almost works as well as the new one . Also if you are putting it outside like me it can get to hot if it’s in direct sun on a dark hard surface (my red brick front staircase) seems to be okay on concrete. A little shade is better.

I can't believe it took 3 water issues in 1 month to finally realize I needed this. Bought several and it is one of the most valuable home purchases ever.

I never thought of that this tiny device would be a great buy and it sure did exactly what I purchased it for. I found a water leak in my house. Thanks.

So far so good. Haven't had a leak but worked when I tested. Have it hooked up to my SmartThings hub. Pretty easy to set up

The Samsung Water Leak sensor is great. It is quite small. It works very well. I have placed 2 of these in strategic places in my basement. One has alerted me 2 times. first was a legit backup with my basement drain. Glad it caught it. Second time was a false positive. It was near the drain - the floor was damp - but no water was backing up. But, better safe than sorry. Great piece of mind to have.
