Just make sure to set the phone alert to support priority alerts when in do not disturb mode. I did not get a notification until morning when I woke up. Usability rating is low because the battery seems to be draining quite quickly. It would be nice if they gave an option for temperature update rates since that is likely the cause the shortened battery life.

Good smart water leak sensor if in right location

The water leak sensor itself is quite effective and alerts through notifications to my phone. It will need to be used with Samsung SmartThings hub for it send out notifications or alerts. Incidentally, I had a leak from my water softener and the water / moisture did not reach the sensor (it was in the corner of the under sink cabinet). Hence did not get alerted! So changed the location to place it near the water softener and it worked.

Reliable Sensors

Thank goodness that I have not had any water leaks yet. I have these sensors placed in all the water-prone areas of the house. I test them every so often with a drop of water or two and they consistently trigger the necessary alarm automations. Very pleased with these sensors and the added peace of mind that they bring.
