This thing is very cool. Wireless charging should be a standard feature on all mobile devices. It looks like a coaster that lights up and it works well. Be mindful that the device might require "seasoning" as I almost gave up on it when attempts to charge my Galaxy Note 5 failed a few times. I placed the phone on the charger and it began to charge for a few minutes and then stopped. I could not find any solutions in forums online to resolve the problem when all of a sudden after a week of usage, it worked flawlessly. The charger works with the phone in or outside of a case. I have a Verus case and there was no difference in charging performance when used with this device. I was able to take advantage of the promotion to get this free with a phone purchase and it pairs well with Note 5. The wireless charger is perfect for work when you have to come and go frequently, and, at home when you need to charge up in spurts. While it does not charge the phone as fast as using a direct fast charging cable plugged into an outlet, it does a fine job. A quick look at the phone's notifications can indicate how much time is left to reach 100%.

So, at first glance, this looks like it might possibly be the best Qi charger on the market. At second glance and getting my hands on it to test, I changed my mind. Firstly, I used it with my Note5, and the charging never finishes.. It constantly disconnects causing you to have to lift the phone and reseat it on the charging pad. Secondly, it seems to get warmer than other brands. I will say - stick with the CHOETECH brand found almost everywhere until Samsung gets their act together... All you have to do is google around some forums and you'll find others disappointed with this product. Don't get me wrong, it looks really cool, with the blue orb, etc, but I need functionality over looks for something like this.

I like this charger on my desk as I can just set my phone on top and it charges while I am working. It is not super fast so keep that in mind. It takes longer to charge than if I use the white samsung cable my Galaxy S6 came with but it is not super slow either. Good product at a reasonable price. I do recommend getting it.

I would give it a 5 star rating but sometimes if you get a text or a call you miss, it will stop charging your phone even if you leave it there. Its takes a while to start most of the times and I have had an almost dead phone when I left it on the charger. But for the most part does its job and can grab it as I go.

Don't know if it is my phone or the charger itself, but I have to lay it on the charger, pick it up, then relay it for the charge to start. Pretty annoying. I need to get into best buy for an exchange, just haven't had the time. I love the ease of charging and not having to hassle with the charging cords and port.

I loved that I didn't need to plug my phone in to charge but this charger is pointless to me because it took my phone 4 hours to charge. I loved the design and ease of use. When and if a faster charging wireless charger is on the market I'll try it.

Overall the wireless charger works good. I gave it 4 stars only because I really have to set my phone in the perfect position on the pad for it to start charging. It may be because of it having to charge through my case. I like using it because it saves the charging port wear and tear. Over all a good product!

As you might expect, this disc does a good job at charging the compatible Galaxy devices. I am using the Note 5, and the pair works pretty well. My handset has the flip cover case, and when it's inside the case, you have only about a centimeter or so freedom in which to line the two up (otherwise, no charging). It is nice, however, that the disc lights up when you've gotten it right, so you know. It should be noted that their is a lot more line up freedom when the device isn't in a case. I don't know who isn't keeping that phone in a case, but for those brave souls, I'd give a fifth star.

I got my charger through a promotion with the purchase of the Note 5. It is very convenient on my work desk, not having to deal with wires. I think I may look into purchasing the fast charging version soon. After getting used to the fast charging that comes with my phone (cord), this charger is a bit slow.

I like this charger. It works great. The only reason I gave it 4, rather than 5 stars is that you really have to make sure that you place the phone correctly on the charger or it doesn't charge. A couple of times, I thought it was charging, but it wasn't - have to move it around to find the sweet spot.

Surprise to me! Works right thru my name-brand but not Samsung-endorsed case! Long charging time Convenient. Just drop it on the wireless charger next to my bed after shutting the lights off in my room insteadecor of searching for the cord end, orienting it the right way and finding the port. Saves wear on your port. Was free with the device, ONLY at Best Buy. You won't be disappointed. Unless you are someone who is miserable about everything and thinks the value of the single dollar should be able to get you a gallon of milk.

I leave this charger on my nightstand and just set my Note 5 on top of it, no more looking for the micro USB slot and trying to insert it correctly. Just set it on the wireless charger and go on about your business....doesn't seem to charge quite as fast as my regular charger but still very effective.

The charger is great it works through my hard plastic and rubber case (i have a verus case), charges without having to plug it in! It is a slow charge and have to make sure to set it on the base just right, which is easy to do...

Charges my phone at night on my night stand without having to find the cable on your traditional charger. Just lay it on the pad, if the blue light comes on then the phone is charging. This is a slow charge so it works better when you are sleeping. It also works with most cases on the phone.

I am always fumbling around plugging/unplugging my phone from charger. Especially at work desk. Getting up and down several times. Was wearing my cord out... and concerned about wear on phone port. But this makes it easy as ever. Just place on.. then take off to go. No need to touch the charging port. Bought two... for home and work. Thinking of buying wife charging back for her S5 in order to use at home as well.

I bought this charger for my office. I have to move around a lot and the charger makes it easy to keep my phone charged while streaming music to my mini Bose speaker. You do have to ensure the phone is more or less in the center of the charger to get a charge but it does have some play.

This is a decent wireless charger for the price-point. Won't charge your phone quite as quick as the wall fast charger, but does it's job fairly okay. Quite convenient to use - you don't have to take off your phone cover or anything. Charges right through.

I use this charger at work, there's no major benefit in having it, other than you being able to avoid plugging a cord into the bottom of your phone. For me this is helpful because after a while I end up bending the little charging port area, making it quite difficult to keep a charge. This charger eliminates that issue. The only hiccups I've come across are: 1) you have to lay it down a certain way or at least wait to hear your phone react to the charge otherwise you'll go an hour look down and your phone is either low or dead and 2) it charges slowly, I'm use to the fast charger that comes with the phone, this charger doesn't come close to that speed. So be prepared to wait a while. So if your like me (bending port expert :)) than this charger will come in handy.

I like that you don't have to plug into the phone. No input site wear and tear problems as i have had in the past with traditional plug chargers. However it requires precise placement of phone on center of charger surface. Pay attention to that and you'll love the ease of it.

still reviewing, only had charger for 2 weeks so far. it charges a little slower but not too bad. it does charge with a case on the phone. only one time i put phone on it & it didn't charge, ( don't know if I did something wrong or not ), but every other time it worked fine
