Great cinematic visuals, entertaining movie, would recommend watching.

Over the years the disaster flick genre has exploded! (Pun intended) And despite the fact that these films may or may not be scientifically accurate, there is no denying their entertainment value and star power. San Andreas is certainly no exception. Visually, this is a stunning movie; and, in my opinion, also boasts some convincing character portrayals. On the surface, this is action-adventure at it's disaster flick finest. At it's core, the story delivers a compelling example of the resiliency of the human spirit, and a dramatic testimony to the importance of family. All in all, this is a great movie that reminds us of why we go to the movies in the first place: to be entertained.

Forgot I bought it before, but i'll keep it as backup. Great in 3D

The Rock does it again! Great action as he saves the day!

Many people have compared this movie to "2012" starring John Cusack. Yes, there are a few similarities, but not that many. Probably the biggest comparisons are the fact that it's a disaster movie and it involves a separated family that comes back together to survive the tragedy. Other than that, San Andreas stands on its own. The special effects were probably the best part of the movie. They were spectacular, and it's worth watching the movie just to see them. But don't be fooled into thinking that the special effects are all there is to this movie. The plot is believable and the acting is decent. It's rated PG-13, I assume because of the amount of death and destruction from the earthquakes, but should be okay for most family members. My family enjoyed the movie, and we have no problem recommending it to others.

Good movie made better on 4K . Lots of action . Buy it
