Having lived through several SoCal earthquakes, I can appreciate the special affects in the movie. Where I believe the movie was weak was the storyline. This is true especially near the end of the movie. I happen to like movies with a lot of CGI as long as there is a story that holds my interest. In the end, I felt it was worth having in my collection.

Dwayne Johnson kills it in this movie. Great actor and awesome movie! Love all the visual effects as well.
