First one I got the ear bud plug didn't work but Best Buy replaced it right a way. Sound is good. Quality is good. Battery life is excellent. On sale price made it a great buy.

For the price (I purchased it when it was on sale ~ $35), this MP3 player easily beats out the more expensive players, but still offers all of the great functionality (and more). Even includes an FM Player (you can record songs using this feature). The 'clip-on' feature is a big plus, though earlier models the clip broke after some months of use (may not apply to this newer model). Have only used the FM Radio and played MP3 music so far . . . have not tapped into all of the features available, yet.

Nice and compact, easy-to-read display can sometimes be tedious to scroll through to where you want, and newest version can be paused for several minutes before auto-shutoff.

I previously used Creative Zen X-Fi, Mozaic, and Vision:M. This line is more expensive and has better battery life and user features in every way than the SanDisk Clip Zip. I use the SanDisk player for audiobooks only, so cannot evaluate music audio quality. It required a lot of trial and error and research to get OverDrive audiobooks into the player's audiobook function vs its music function. The music section does not have a time counter, essential for audio books. The audiobook function DOES have a time counter. User instructions online were helpful. None come with the player.

Once you get it to sync it is great. It is lacking in directions on the setup.

Love it. . Size, features and sound.. Its could scan large sd cards slowly. but expansion is worth it 40gbs after adding 32gb. Card vs Apples 2gb

This Sansa Clip Zip 8 was nice to use. It loaded up easily and worked flawlessly after the first updating periods were over with. It was originally purchased for a friend of a friends so I do not know if what the outcome is on this particular device however my previous Sansa MP3`s have been perfect in every aspect. I will always buy Sansa as long as they`re available.

Great device. Does everything I wanted it to do. Good sound quality. Earphones could fit better. Easy to use after you get used to it.

I haven't had it long enough to see how well it holds up in the long term. It holds a charge while connected to a small speaker (via audio cable) for about 6-7 hours on a full charge. The charging cable is too short for my liking.

I have no complaints! I think this MP3 player would be great for anyone. It's very portable, durable, easy to use, and cute to boot! It's compatible with all sort of file formats, has lots of features for such a little guy, and has a wonderful user interface - It's super easy to navigate the menus. I love this MP3 player more than any other I've owned and even seen. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I purchased this for my husband. He uses it everyday at work. He loves the sound quality and great battery life.

had an ipod touch that had battery problems. replaced it with this device and it works great. easy to copy songs to through windows explorer. great price.

I bought this for my 62 year old father to use while walking. I was impressed with the sound quality. The user interface of the player feels like something straight out of 2006, but the lack of a high-def touch screen helps to keep the cost down. The device was recognized like a flash drive on my computer (windows 7) and I was able to easily copy and paste some MP3's without needing any extra software. To me, this is a huge plus.

For the price, size, and features this is a great music player. I wanted a player that would play lossless music well so due to the FLAC/ALAC file sizes I was down to the iPod Classic and the Sandisk Clip Zip. The iPod has more storage and features but the Clip Zip was the sweet spot for me.

The Sansa Zip Clip 8 gb is perfect for working out. It,s light, can clip just about anywhere to be out of the way during training, and sounds great. Shuffle setting combined 8 gb with storage capacity means you never get bored with the music selection. The only drawback is that my old Sansa zip clip 4gb had it's clip wear out and break off after about a year of continuous use.

I needed something that would not get in the way or hinder my movement and this little guy does just that. I really like being able to listen to the types of music that I like or simply listening to select radio stations. I use it both at work and at home so that I don't force my music on anyone else.

Pretty good item. On my fourth cause I keep misplacing them & finding them crushed in driveway under floor mats & stuff.....Auaugh wooops there U were :(

This MP3 player is my go-to player for all of my workouts. It is so small and feels like nothing is on my arm when I am running, biking, etc. I also enjoy the timer aspect of it to encorporate into my workouts as well. A great player for a great price. I will continue to buy Sandisk players.

Good mp3 bought as a replacement for daughters iPod while screen gets repaired. Easy to use with drop and drag music. Does what it's supposed to do.
