I fell for an oddball scheme to alter an old PS3 so it could regain the "other OS" feature disabled by SONY. The scheme "required" a USB drive, and because I was leery of the idea anyway , I wanted a decent but inexpensive thumb drive. This SanDisk Cruzer 16GB was on sale and just right for me because, although the scheme was a pathetic gimmick, I can still use the drive for file transfers and photo storage and it works so well I don't feel as dumb as I should for believing the PS3 gimmick would work.
