    I bought this to use as a Mac OSX bootable USB installer. It is relatively fast for use in reinstalling Mac OSX Lion on an older Macbook that i was testing with. And I can easily keep it as bootable Mac USB installer for when something might happen again on my older test macbook.

    There are 3 types of USB sticks. USB 2, USB 3, USB C. 2 and 3 are interchangable, 3 is just faster when plugged into a 3 slot. My tip is that USB sticks wear out. They can only read and write so many times. If your using it for something important, replace it once a year :)

    I bought this USB to use when transferring data from one hard drive to another. Although everything is pretty much on the cloud now, this USB stick is a good option to have as a backup. I have not had any complaints with it.
