    I needed a smallish external memory to transfer some files from one computer to another across town. E-mail was not appropriate. This little relatively inexpensive device did the trick. It works great; transfer speed is quite adequate.

    I bought this because I got a great deal. I was able to easily back up some important research files, BUT I LOST IT IN THE SAME WEEK. i am so incredibly disappointed because this was one of the best purchases I ever made.

    I was originally looking for an 8 GB flash drive but Best Buy had this 16 GB capacity available for the same price as an 8 GB. I have had excellent results from SanDisk products in the past and this one is also serving me well.

    Purchased specifically to create a recovery/back-up disc of my PC system files, so it does not get used to transfer files/data between multiple devices. Perfect for the job, but would prefer it had a cover to conceal the USB connector from damage or dust/contamination.
