The flash drive works just fine so far but the plastic pieces it is made from do not seem very sturdy, i.e., the plastic seems thin and the two halves seem like they may not be joined together very well and could come apart (hopefully it won't) and has a slight rattle to it when you handle it.

The San Disk Cruzer is an excellent basic thumb/ flash drive. It allows you to retract the plug-in when you are storing it. The contrasting colors make it easy to find in a drawer. The price is super right!

I've started to use memory sticks instead of cd/dvd's to save/archive information...its faster and easy to store. I suspect that that rewriteable cd's will start to become obsolete
