    The Sandisk Cruzer 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive is a decent thumb drive. If used only with a USB 2.0 port it is close to perfect. The packaging on the Sandisk Cruzer says "USB 2.0 / USB 3.0 compatible" in fairly big letters. While it is true that the thumb drive can be used with either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports, it only operates at USB 2.0 speeds with either type. If you have USB 3.0 ports or anticipate updating your computer anytime in the next few years, you can get the superior USB 3.0 performance of a Sandisk Ultra USB drive for just a few dollars more.
