SanDisk has been owned by Western Digital for a little over two years now and they just keep getting better. There are few things in life that just work. SanDisk products are in that small group of products that can be depended on to just work. I'm old and have lots of digital memories. They are all on Western Digital or SanDisk memory products.

I needed a high capacity flash drive, and this was the cheapest version at the time. Decent transfer speed for a 2.0 drive. My problem is this body is consistently the cheapest drive, and I have almost a dozen drives that look identical, in lower capacities. I am constantly mistaking other drives for this one and loosing it. Too bad the drive that looks like a Lego brick wasn't a higher capacity.

This is a great purchase for saving those picture and video memories and freeing up some place on that hard drive but keep in mind this is only 2.0 speeds. I did a video review of the transfer speeds on my youtube channel and it clearly shows that a 65mb file will take about 20+ seconds so transferring and big files in the GB will take much longer. I give this 4 stars out of 5 due to the speed issue but overall a great buy for $30. NOT worth the $99 Best Buy Price. dominickcidoniDOTcom

I was recently in the process of switching over to a new desktop, and needed to more easily swap over some files that I wanted to make absolutely certain would make it onto the new computer when it was set up. It had more than enough space for my purposes, and will definitely be used in the future.

Best buy has good prices and great brands, but you have to be aware of good deals I have a lot of usb thumb drives but for $29.99 I picked up the sandisk 128gb usb 2.0 thumbdrive. Yes, usb3.0 is better and faster, but I will settle for now and not wait for Xmas sales. Also bestbuy has a great return exchange policy and sandisk is also honorable when there are issues with their product.
