Great Laptop for beginners or intermediate users

It starts and closes at a reasonable speed. It's keyboard is sized same as a desktop and is very pleasant to use. It's entire weight of the laptop is light and easy to lift. I do highly recommend a Tree Bee pad with it's 4 fans for this and any laptop. I have used the same one for 3 years and using one keeps my laptops healthy from processor burnout by the heat put forth. This was a gift for someone else who is not a nerd like me!!!! I have a higher end laptop.
