    Personally, I prefer external drives, but I purchased 3 of these for my dad and brother because they prefer travel drives. Also, as a college instructor, I would recommend these for students that needed to removable storage. However, the biggest problem with any removable drive is not knowing how to remove them from the computer. PLEASE DO NOT SIMPLY PULL IT FROM THE COMPUTER! If you do, you have the potential of losing everything you have worked hard to complete! (I have seen it happen too many times.) Ask someone to show you how to remove a travel drive if they require you to purchase one.
