I needed this for my work computer, especially since I've been working from home due to COVID-19 restrictions. I needed to replace an aging external drive on which I had nearly all my project files on that was starting to act up. I needed something a bit more reliable so this was it. It is small, light-weight, and pretty fast. Granted, there is a newer model that came out that is faster, but more expensive. For what I am using this device for, it works extremely well. I have had no problems with it working with my machine. Plugged it in, and it was immediately recognized. No boot-up issues or crashes or anything like that. Yes, it is kinda pricey, but such is the nature of SSDs.

I bought this to back up files from my soon to be obsolete Windows 7 computer. I chose solid state because it won't likely fail in my lifetime. Simple to use. The only minor complaint is that the type C USB cord is too short to be of much use; it would leave the device dangling from my tower. Probably OK if you are using it with a laptop. That is a minor complaint as it is very small and light.

Using this on my MacBook Pro for 1080p movies. Transfers the whole movie in seconds (about 5 seconds for a 6gb movie). Love how small it is too.

This drive is featherweight and fast. I have 2 and use one as my Time Machine to back up my Hard Drive and another to store 15 years of digital photos.
The sale price makes this a no brainer.

This Solid-State drive is great. It's durable, very portable, and holds a good amount of data. I use it for large size video storage. It's fast enough to edit ProRes 4K video directly off the drive. The hook loop is nice as well. It's only about half the size of an iPhone so it's easy to fit into a pocket or anywhere.

This hard drive it's awesome. Very small for the storage size and has a nice case that had a very good grippy texture with a keyhole that you can put it on. Installed PUBG on it with my Xbox one S, and it helped tremendously with rendering. Don't hesitate, get this bad boy.. You'll love it!

I put my photos on this, connect it to my MacBook Pro and do my photo editing. Of course, I back it up.
Anyway, it is serving me well. It’s fast and very portable. I can even connect it to my iPad Pro and edit from there.
The sale price made it worthwhile.

This is ideal portability and is compare and extremely fast. I do international travel and is great that I have one less cord to carry around due to the USB C interface I use for both my phone and now this drive. This is a best that I use to back up everything.

Even though it can seem quite pricey, this SSD is worth ever penny. Great durability, nice ergonomics, feels good knowing how safe my data is. Also this SSD External harddrive is by far the fastest, best External SSD drive for Xbox One X.

THIS THING IS SO FAST AND SMALL... IT WEIGHS NEXT TO NOTHING AND HOLDS TONS OF MUSIC AND PICS. FITS EASILY IN MY POCKET. IT'S GOT A PLACE FOR A RING TO CLIP IT IN YOUR BACKPACK OR ON YOUR BELT. I'LL NEVER BE CAUGHT WITHOUT THIS IN THE FUTURE.

So this is our 1st SSD portable hard drive. This thing is tiny. Like the size of an iPod. Very small, light, well built, water resistant, shock/drop proof (not gonna test that). Very fast transfer speeds. This is last years model, new model is $100 more for double the transfer speeds. Price is admittedly expensive. If you want the best tech it will cost you.

This isn't the fastest SSD out there anymore, but it's still so fast on a MacBook Pro, that you really don't need any faster unless you do LOTS of massive file swaps. I'm talking things in excess of 10GB. If not, it's faster than my abilities. It's also much smaller than I anticipated. Definitely pocket friendly size. Doesn't get very warm when running but it does seem to pull power all the time it's plugged into the MB Pro.

I just bought this external hard drive. I love that it is really small and it looks durable. It uploads the pictures really fast and it is really easy to use. I bought it for my Macbook Pro. Again, so far so good.

I bought this to use as a fast hold area to use for processing and working with photographs. It is definitely faster than the external disk drives I also use, so it meets my goal. I have had no problems in the two months I have used it. I deduct a star for two things. It runs HOT. This is apparently normal, but unnerving. Also, you really pay a premium for this newer tech. Likely made for $10 and sold retail for several hundred. It was my choice to pay that, but it is definitely price gouging. I got a good sale price at Best Buy. So, need fast storage or a large portable data sink? Willing to invest the money? I highly recommend this bleeding-edge toy.

I'm always trying to find a faster way to back up customer data before I get to work on it - and this is my latest insurance plan. It's incredibly fast (I've seen it where Windows said it was copying at 630mb/s from a server SSD drive). At 2TB, it holds enough to be useful. Also, no other plug besides a USB is needed.
Also, vm's on servers running ESXi with a proper USB 3 driver and virtual USB 3 host controller will recognize this drive and work at USB 3 speeds. Only issue I had so far is some vm's would run at USB 2 speeds on older servers.
