Great item! 2TB Really cleaned up space on my five year old laptop. A lot of old data, pictures and apps was easy to add to SanDisk external SSD.

Love how small this hard drive is. I had to format it so I could use it on both PC and MacBook. Works seamlessly on both operating systems and syncs to each device right away. We like the ample 2TB storage for music production files.

I've had no issues with the reliability of this item to date and the transfer rate seems to be good. Convenient size for an SSD, the loop is also a nice touch to use with a carabiner to clip onto a key chain or similar. Availability in different colors is also helpful to distinguish between drives.

The SanDisk external USB-C is an excellent portable HD! The speed alone almost outdoes the 2TB size of my new toy. Versatility is not stopped at portability either, as the USB-C device has an adapter head for USB; I plug in to my laptop, and then my phone just like that.

Wha I like the most of this is how compact it is, it fits anywhere and it is not heavy at all so you can literaly take it in your keychain

I bought this SanDisk - Extreme Portable 2TB SSD portable hard drive because it connected USB-C and I could connect it to my Galaxy tablet. Super fast.

I have a MacBook Pro 2019 model, 512GB. I was running out of space. So, I picked this up to store my games and other applications, as well as data. Formatted with APFS, which is supposed to be the best file system for solid-state drives. Works great! No problems at all. I started by using it for Time Machine backups. Worked fine there as well. But, changed it as I needed a standard external drive more than another Time Machine backup drive. I tested the USB speed, and it is indeed as advertised with both read and write speeds of about 1 Gbps. So, certainly not as fast as the SSD inside the Macbook, but certainly fast enough for my needs. Highly recommended.

I find this drive to be very reliable so far. Great transfer speed. I chose SanDisk after having several Western Digital drives fail, and losing important files. So far, so good with SanDIsk.
