    I’m a videographer and editor and the workflow would not be the same without this. I’m currently recording 4k 10 bit 4:2:2 and my Footage renders smoothly when the ssd holds the files. This is my 2nd hard drive and i love the compactness

    This is an upgrade over the previous gen, which only got up to speeds of 500mbs/sec. This one gets close to 1000mbs/sec. Its great for editing multiple layers of video.

    Worked great after a bit of research. It needs a higher powered power source. I attempted to backup one video at a time and photo at a time using the 35 watts apple usb c plug. Worked fine. Then attempted to backup several files at a time, the message popped it needed higher power. If the manual or disclaimer had that info of higher power source required I would give it a 5 star.

    The read and write speed is as expected. The crucial point to remember is that the sender also needs the capability to produce data at a rate of 1 terabyte per second which is common for any hard disk.

    These are great for external storage and working with LR with files stored externally but keep your LR catalog on your main harddrive and you will not experience any slow down of LR no matter how many files you have.
