  • Save time with up to 2000MB/s Read and Write Speeds. SanDisk's memory card offers up to stated speeds, engineered with proprietary technology to reach speeds beyond UHS-I 104MB/s. However, it requires compatible devices capable of reaching such speed. Based on internal testing, performance may be lower depending on host device, interface, usage conditions, and other factors. It is important to note that 1MB equals 1,000,000 bytes.
  • Extra peace of mind with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. The SanDisk product is based on internal IPEC 60529 IP55/IP65 testing, which ensures that it can withstand water flow (30 kPa) for 3 minutes and limited dust contact does not interfere with its operation. However, it is important to clean and dry the product before use.
  • Password protection uses 256-bit AES encryption and is supported by Windows 8, Windows 10, and macOS v10.9+ (Software download required for macOS, see official SanDisk website.) The Sony camera is also included in the bag, along with the SanDisk memory card.

    I bought this for use with my genealogy. I have older external drives that have moving parts that fail and I am slowly replacing them with the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD drives. They are much smaller in size with just as much storage and much easier to travel with than the larger bulky drives.

    I can't stress enough how amazing this little device is! It's definitely worth every penny. As someone who isn't always the most careful with my backpack, durability is a top priority for me.
