Just A Thumb Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a USB 3 thumb drive for a new computer and this one was on sale over Black Friday weekend. Used USBFlashSpeed to benchmark with following results: Files 512k and higher averaged about 140 MB/sec Read and 97 MB/sec Write. Smaller files decreased in speeds until reaching 4.8 MB/sec Read and 0.48 MB/sec Write for a 1k file. This drive has a recessed USB port operated by a thumb switch and when the drive's USB port is extended there is significant play in the drive's USB port allowing a significant amount of lateral movement when connected to a computer's USB port. Only time will tell how well this drive performs or lasts over time and as the number or read/write cycles increases.

It advertises 128 GB space but in reality it only offered 114GB. They can be easily erased/ deleted to free up the rest of space to actually have the entire worth of 128GB. Good all-in-all.
