Faster than usb 2.0 but fluctuates

While faster than any usb 2.0, the speeds advertised on the package I have NEVER gotten. (For reference I have a custom built rig with an i7 processor and a solid state hard drive for rendering video). While writing files it will begin writing at 60MB/sec and then taper off to around 30MB/sec.

Didnt set my house on fire or eat my dog. So I would say it was a good purchase. I swear I did hear it try to hit on my wife the other night...

Every product of theirs in the past that I have purchased is still working 100%, and has never failed. When I saw this one on a great sale, I snatched it up and it's performed as expected.
