It is not compatible with some of my computers and other devices. So I exchanged it for another and the second had the same issue. The one I purchased several months ago worked fine. I suspect the new ones are not exactly the same as the older one. I then purchased a PNY (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pny-elite-turbo-attache-4-256gb-usb-3-0-type-a-flash-drive-black-gray/6236000.p?skuId=6236000) that works fine.

Recieved the item super fast and everything is working perfectly.

Flash drive works as it should. no problems. would buy again.

SanDisk has been a reliable storage device for me for years.

Not sure what happened but this piece of junk made itself read only during my second use and cannot be recovered. Not an uncommon problem once I dove into some of the forum posts about this product line.

I am very happy with the SanDisk Ultra 256GB Drive. It is built nicely and not to big. The slide out design works great and stays locked in place. The capacity is far more than I can imagine ever needing on a flash drive. So far, I haven't found it to get overly warm during use although that is a common thing with flash drives. Speed is great! I use it for photos. I do a lot of location photography. I usually dump my photos onto my laptop until I can transfer them later on to my main desktop for permanent storage. This drives gives me not only an easy way to transfer photos, but an extra layer of protection with the inclusion of the Flashback service included free for one year with the drive. This service works as an automatic cloud backup for whatever you place on the drive. So far, it seems to work very well. Upload speed will of course be limited by internet speed. But the safety of knowing my files are safely stored away from the drive while traveling is nice.

It doesn't work for an extended storage device on my PS4 even though the guy at the store told me it would.

After only a couple of days of using flash drive, it was no longer recognized by the computer. Documents saved to the flash drive were lost.

The first effort to load data resulted in an estimate of 5 hours.. since I was planing to move a large photo library...I stopped and thought Id use it to store some movies ....maybe 40 g worth of data ...that would have taken 2 hours...I desisted from that plan too.I will just use it like I would a LESS EXPENSIVE drive with lower storage capacity since I presume that once loaded accessing the large data file would also prove painfully SLOW!

Best Buy can't get my account fixed. Douglas Staten is a crook.

Average to poor as it is not a durable one. Quite a cheaply manufactured product with zero value.

The read writes only give me a 17% on my bench mark. Not very good slow read write speeds.

I don't know the reason but somehow the writing speed is really slow. I've purchased two, both of them are the same.

Not a great deal. I ended up going on Amazon and bought a 1TB usb drive for under $30.

When I tried to transfer a folder with a number of files in it, the message "not enough space to transfer" popped up. So only the first file in the folder was copied. This happened every time subsequently. This flash drive was defective and could not be used.

I have so many smaller flash drives I can not combine into 1. I love the capacity and speed of this drive. I used this to copy some large files around. This is FAT32 and not NTFS, so I had to reformat the drive. These is encryption, which is helpful is you do not already have a favorite to use. One of the neat features is the cloud backup, its like dropbox and everyone else just drag and drop. There is a 12 month limit on the storage. This copied files pretty fast. I was getting about 65MBps using the 2.0 port, and well over 100 with this plugged into my 3.0 port. If you can find this on sale, snag it but don't forget you only get 1 year of free storage.

Paid 135.00 does not work in my computer said to down load program. Program will not down load
