At first glance, this item looks great. The switch appears to be a nice way to choose which output to expose. Electronics work as advertised. Added this to my keychain. The honeymoon period ended quickly though. The casing, without abuse, fell apart. Poor design of the internal latching system. The metal clasp fell off and the casing split into two. Of course the electronic core element is now free to disappear to where all the single socks hide. At first I thought this was a fluke, and reassembled the Lego pieces. The whole unit split once more upon insertion into an USB port. I can't imagine the horror of grabbing the keychain and discovering the flashdrive missing. If you value your data, avoid this flashdrive.

I bought this because it was about the same price as a normal flash drive with same capacity but it had a microSD port, which really comes in handy for transferring files from my Android phone. Works great. It's fast, easy to carry, and it is reliable, so far. My only gripe is the metal piece in the middle. I really would prefer to take that off. Maybe I can, but I don't want to damage it so I'll leave it on.

Small and convenient. Only issue is that since is switches from micro to USB, sometimes slides too far.

This is a new version of the mini usb drive comes with a convinience hook for use as a keychain attachement . Unlike the previous design which only has a tiny hole on the side that is useless because hardly any attachement could fit through it .

At first, the design worried me, as the slide mechanism could break easily after consistent use. I'm happy to say after hard biweekly use, still works great & transfer time is fast due in part to having the same USB 3.0 on my phone too.

The file transfer/storage capability is good, no issues there. USB 3.0, quick transfer speeds. The reason I marked it as 3 stars is because the USB-A to mini USB feature is trash. It's a pain to slide back and forth, and when you do insert an end into a device it slightly pushes itaelf back into the housing. Feels cheap and poorly thought out. In any case, it holds and transfers files so I didn't return it.

got at a sale price. Totally worth it if u can get it when on sale. Awesome 3.0 transfer speed. Just ugly design and the slider sucks.

It nice, very small and performs as it should; however, its design aesthetically is poor. Very easy to lose. There's a small metal hook you can attach to your keys, but that didn't last too long - it fell came off the attachment within a weeks time. Fortunately, a family member recognized it and picked it up from the ground for me. I now have to carry ONLY when I need it, but that's the thing...you may not have it with you when you ACTUALLY NEED it because you'll be afraid to bring it with you and lose it...

It works for what it is, but it feels cheap. The slider to change which end sticks out feels like it'll break sooner than later. I'd much rather just not have it slide and have both ends sticking out.

This is a great little device. I hook it up to my computer to load it up with movies, and then (with a flick of a switch) I hook it up to my phone to view them. Very useful when traveling. I did knock it one star for the switching mechanism. It's a very simple sliding mechanism, but it slides a little too freely. Thanks to the capless design, either end could end up poking out without warning when shoving this into a pocket. Not a big deal, just annoying.

The drive is small light weight and cheap. one star off for the hook on the center throwing off the design

I bought this for my system backup drive. However it does not slide easily and it actually fell apart on the micro USB end of the drive. It still works but I am now going to have to buy a different drive for my backup. I am afraid to store my important information on it because it is designed poorly!

very handy to move pictures from android to PC. i am not fan of the plastic method of sliding one end to another; doesn't hold in place in the middle.

It is not nessary it seems to have the ends go in. Hard to move them in and out. Poor design.

It works but the design is something that should be looked at. This slider to retract or extend the USB portion is not built well.

The product is a dual purpose micro and std USB device. When either plug is pushed into the port, it collapses back into the holder. It does not lock into position for insertion. Cannot use the device!!! Poor design. Jerryghr

This product is poorly designed. It does not fit next to another USB device since most of the USB ports are close to each other. Someone was not thinking when they designed this. Had to return it.
