I used this unit to store a large amount of music. Now I just plug it into a USB slot in my car and it is like having hundreds of cd's all in one tiny flash drive. It seems to get pretty hot after being used for awhile, but so far no problems. It works great.

I haven't noticed any heat issues like with other small usb drives and the speeds between my phone and PC are great!

Plug one end in my phone. Use Sandisk app to copy photos, movies, etc. to the flash drive. Plug the other end of flash drive into my PC and copy them there for backup!! SIMPLE !! It does get hot during use, but don't worry about that and if you are copying tons of stuff, like I was, it does take a while.

It's very nice and also the size is reasonable to keep it in your pocket. Mostly I'm using it for backup and transfering my android phone's files to the computer. But when I use it for a long time like 30 min or more it becomes a little hot and it's the only reason that I give 4 stars.

Stores a great deal of data for it's size 3.0 speed, it's real handy and doesn't get hot like some small versions do.

When I first saw this, I thought to myself "another way to get my money. Stupid gimmick." I broke down and bought it. One of the most used devices I've bought so far. Swapping files between PCs, laptops, and mobile devices is Soooo easy and fast. I hope they make one of these with the USB C connection. Little sucker can get pretty warm from a short period of time. Probably because the write speed is pretty fast.

This unit works well on my USB 3 PC ports. Very fast and does not get hot like a different brand I tried. However, be aware your android phone might not work with it as it does with an internally mounted SDXC card. I was unable to play MP4 videos on this unit while plugged into the microsd charging/data port of my older android phone. Still I am happy because I got it on sale.

Transferred 3.5 gig took roughly 20 minutes, hot to touch when it running.

It is useful, but it gets hot as you use. Although it is working till now.

I think this is the most wonderful product for transferring files between tablets/phones and computers. One thing I have noticed is that it gets hot if I keep it in my tablet or computer for too long, but other than that it is perfect.

I love these. I can dump photos and movies from my phone to the flash drive and copy them to my PC or at this price, save them for backups!. It does get very hot when in use but hasn't hurt anything.

Very versatile drive, two sizes of plugs, nice and clean, but it heats up very fast when attached to any laptop. I wouldn't leave it attached to anything big for very long.

I bought this to use with MacBook Pros. It's inexpensive, but it will get hot from long fire transfer. It was almost too hot to touch.

It works like a charm, but does gets a little hot when plugged in for a while. Backing up pics/whatsapp videos from the mobile are super fast. Its more than enough for the average daily user.

Transferring files is very fast.. just seems like the build quality could be better.. and after prolonged use it really heats up because of the small size..

Purchased this for my LG pad and it works great. Doesn’t over heat and good write speed!

This thing gets hot, and fast. When plugged into my note 5, i transferred a 2gb video. it took about 5 minutes and the thing was so hot i didn't want to use it till it cooled down. When plugged into my 3.0 laptop, it didn't get nearly as hot and transferred the video in about 2 minutes or so. If you have a case on your phone, you may need to take it off to get this thing to connect. and make sure it locks, cause if it doesn't and something touches it, it will just retract back inside and cause a lot of problems. same with e the standard USB side.

But a little hot when running. I loved small form factor.

I was excited when i stumbled upon this great device and the price got me more interested. However the product itself was a disapointment. It gets hot almost immediately after inserting it in my phone. I am thinking a defected one was shipped to me. I am very dissatisfied. Need a refund. But i am in jamaica with the product. What a waste of money.

I was looking for a normal USB and was suggested to go for this one by the store associate. I don't regret following his suggestion :) This one is small enough to slip it anywhere. Performance is good. Good one to transfer data especially pictures/audio files between phone and laptops. I found it getting heated a little faster than I would like, but that's okay with me. I can get along with it especially with what I am getting.
