At first glance, this item looks great. The switch appears to be a nice way to choose which output to expose. Electronics work as advertised. Added this to my keychain. The honeymoon period ended quickly though. The casing, without abuse, fell apart. Poor design of the internal latching system. The metal clasp fell off and the casing split into two. Of course the electronic core element is now free to disappear to where all the single socks hide. At first I thought this was a fluke, and reassembled the Lego pieces. The whole unit split once more upon insertion into an USB port. I can't imagine the horror of grabbing the keychain and discovering the flashdrive missing. If you value your data, avoid this flashdrive.

The locking mechanism that keeps the USB insertions from sliding back and forth (when the device is being plugged into a computer or phone) is not strong enough. I find myself having to hold the opposite end enable to finally get the USB drive plugged into my computer.

The flash memory works fine but the casing design is so poor, connector just cannot keep locked in one place, having a bulky casing that is only good to protect the flash memory inside but unable to lock position for standard USB or micro USB connector is worse than having 2 caps with a rigid body.

The moving parts sometimes moved well, sometimes did not. It was not satisfactory, and I returned it. The movement was to extend the connector in the two directions, and it was a problem.

The cover/metal parts break off. Next to impossible to plug into a phone with a case (had to review the case in order to back up data.

I was excited when i stumbled upon this great device and the price got me more interested. However the product itself was a disapointment. It gets hot almost immediately after inserting it in my phone. I am thinking a defected one was shipped to me. I am very dissatisfied. Need a refund. But i am in jamaica with the product. What a waste of money.

You have to hold the regular usb side switch in if you put it into a usb that is tight -- very hard to do with one hand.

I dont like product because they thing on middle is broken in regular use dont waste money

For whatever reason I cannot get this drive to mount on any computer - had to return it 2nd time!

The pen drive stopped working after two months. It is waste of money.

This is a great idea and concept but it did not work for any of my devices.

The product is a dual purpose micro and std USB device. When either plug is pushed into the port, it collapses back into the holder. It does not lock into position for insertion. Cannot use the device!!! Poor design. Jerryghr

Didn't like this at all. Won't work on device as stated.

This product is poorly designed. It does not fit next to another USB device since most of the USB ports are close to each other. Someone was not thinking when they designed this. Had to return it.

Altered the partitioning on it and broke it within days. If you Just want extra storage for a phone it might be good but as a usb drive I was unhappy

2 Best Buy employees informed me that this product works with all smartphones just plug it in and move photos and videos to it.

I bought this to back up photos, etc. from my Android phone (from my understanding and from the sales person this is what it is intended to do). I downloaded the guide and I read the instructions but I have yet to get it to work. It only seems to want to back up an SD card from my phone (which my phone doesn't have). Frustrating and a lot of time wasted.

After a month or so, part of the case cracked. Then the case eventually cracked completely and all I had was the metal without the plastic case. I've used plenty other SanDisk products and they are typically good, but this one is too flimsy.

The silver piece broke off immediately and the android plug doesnt work with an otterbox defender case so i have to take the case off to back it up. It still transfers files ok but was not as plug n play [or backup/transfer files] as i would expect or hope.

I bought this to copy pics and videos from my note4 to this drive and then put them on my PC as it is being advertised. I installed sandisk memory zone app and connected the drive to the phone. But, phone is not aware of the drive.
