    I wanted a flash drive to backup the system for a new laptop. Laptops used to come with a backup CD (s) but my new one did not. I selected the 3.0 speed and it backed up the system about twice as fast as a prior one I had done on a 2.0 drive. I have used this brand of flash drives and have never had a problem with them, so I will keep buying them.
