I bought this because there’s only one usb-c port on the MacBook. This will be useful for transferring files from usb-c to usb-a

This drive has a dual slide out that works with both the traditional USB plug (2 or 3) and can be slide the other direction to work with the newer USB Thunderbolt type plug. It works fine... my only concern is that when plugged into a thunderbolt jack, the drive gets warm to the touch. Don't know if the heating up will shorten the life span of the drive, so I tend to stick with using it on the traditional ports to be on the safe side.

I have moved my pictures to this flash drive and I can always carry anywhere I go an easily access my pictures to show.

The value of these flash drives are unmatched. I have 6 of them now and they work great for all my USB-C connected devices. They’re fast and I haven’t had a single issue with any of them. Plus, if you’re able to pick them up on sale, the value is outrageous.

Since not every computer is usb c compatible, this is nice for transferring my photos to clients who aren’t tech savvy. Bends easily in usb c side, but just be careful.

Wow, USB 3.1 is blazing fast compared to an older 2.0 flash drive. One side is the USB type-c connection and the other side is a standard USB connection so I can use it with my cell phone or computer without needing an adapter.

I purchased this to use it with my MacBook Pro since it only has 4 USB C ports. This is a very convenient external storage device as it has both USB A and USB C ports on opposite ends. Also it has great transfer speeds.

Works well. I like the fact that it works with type A and C USB ports. However, the unit does get very hot the more you use it.
