    Tried to use it for ReadyBoost; It didn't make much of a difference, performance-wise, so I now just use it as a tiny, tiny backup drive, or as an alternate "thumbdrive".

    SanDisk makes their memory cards top quality. I have an older 10 megapixel DSLR camera and with this 8GB card, at the highest resolution settings, I can take 1008 pictures. I've used the same cards sometimes for over five years and taken countless of pictures on them and they never fail. I'm not a pro by any means, but I've never had a problem with a SanDisk memory card yet. Can't say that about some of the other cheaper manufacturers though.
