Purchased this for a desk top computer. Needed and adapter to install in tray but otherwise it was easy to do and SSD performance is excellent.

I have only had this for a few weeks but so far it is performing good. I got this to replace a Samsung SSD that died after barely a year. So we will see if this one can last longer then a year.

If you want to upgrade a older laptop, People might tell you to get more memory, I'm telling you GET THIS HARD DRIVE!!!!! It's so fast that you will want to upgrade every laptop in the house!

Very easy to install and set up. My Rig: FX 8350, GTX 980, MSI 970 Gaming. I'm getting consistent read/write speeds of 520 MB/s. Boot up time is ~10 seconds on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit.

Fast, reliable (so far), installed easy, and does what it claims. Price was excellent for what you get.

I bought this solid state drive to use as a speedy "C" drive in a PC laptop. I had no problem installing it, and it works very well. The laptop definitely starts and stops quicker now.

I have been wanting to try a SSD drive and this is working perfect so far. Replaced a 500 Gb WD Black drive and the speed increase is well worth it. Will be buying more in the future.

This is pretty amazing for the price, even faster than a similar unit that I paid twice as much for last year. Definitely worth getting to upgrade a slower and older hard drive.

Wanted a Solid State Drive for my MacBook Pro and chose this because of reviews I had read..This SanDisk solid state drive is fast and definitely has increased the performance.

I replaced an older SATA drive with this SSD. Windows 10 boots in a few seconds instead of a few minutes. Programs load and run faster too. The drive is super quiet and if you've never held one, it is super light as well -- I thought the box was empty when I bought it! Only con is these drives are laptop size and they don't come with a frame to mount them in a desktop case so you have to be a little creative.

I swapped out my laptops hard disk drive for this. and it was a huge improvement. booting up my laptop used to take a couple minutes. It now boots in seconds.

Great value for the speed and reliability. So far all of my Sandisk products have lasted me for years. It's a good thing the prices on the 480GB is now very affordable. :)

The one that I picked is half a terabyte, so that everything but the OS can be recovered. The person who received it is very happy. Also got the external kit to go with it.

My laptop's old hard drive gave out after overheating. I purchased this hoping to breath life back in to my laptop. My laptop runs, and is super - super quite. Recommend.

The first drive i got was DOA but a quick trip back to the store and an exchange got me up and running. Going from a platter drive to an ssd makes a big difference, from power on to fully loaded in windows is about 30 seconds. Don't really have any cons except for my first drive not working.

I bought this SSD for a Customer of mine and it turned out to be a very powerful SSD. I was weary using anyone other than Samsung Evo. But it is still working great.
