NICE CHOICE FOR A COMPUTER. 10 TIMES FASTER THAN A 5200 RPM HARD DRIVE

Very good SSD. I would recommend to all P.C. users. laptop or Desktop.

This was a cheap and easy way to extend the life of my laptop. I was amazed at how easy it was to install but even more amazed at how big much of an impact it made to my computer. It boots up in seconds and programs open faster than I could have imagined.

I got this SSD for my main desktop. I had a smaller SanDisk that I moved to my dad's computer. It had over 1 year of 24/7 use, and I had no issues. That's one of the reasons I got another one. Nothing too fancy...it's an SSD that's super quick.

I've built my own computers for almost over 25 years. One thing that I would always prioritize was RAM: the more the better. The main reason for that was to help the performance of applications by using less of the swap memory on the hard drive. With this SSD drive, a lot of RAM is not as important anymore. Also, no matter how much RAM you have, the operating system will always take a long time to start with regular hard drives. Not with this SandDisk. I've had other SSD drives but this one is by far the fastest for both reading AND writing. I haven't experienced any issues with it so far and with a 3-year warranty I feel confident about its reliability and longevity.

Well it turns my MacBook on much better than the legacy harddrive. Would recommend.

Product is an excellent and fast SSD. It was also cheaper than its competitors.

The larger the hard drive the more they cost but this Sandisk has a very reasonable price on it. The installation was easy. It did not come with a installation kit but it is easy to put it in place without the kit. Plug it in, turn on the computer and windows recognizes it and you are set to start using it.

No longer a fear of sudden shut downs or someone banging into a tower causing th old school hard drive failures. No more instabale disk speeds. No more deframents. Well worth the cost and planing on swittching all of our computers to ssd .

Set up went up quickly. It is slightly slower than my Samsung EVO 840, but still much better than any spinning HD out there.

My aunt's HP Envy was hacked. I suggested getting a new HDD while I worked to regaining access into her old HDD. Once I was able to restore her files, the computer works 10x better than with the old HDD. It boots up in less than 10 seconds.

This is an affordable Solid State Drive that is compact and fast.

I used to turn on the computer, go make a cup of coffee, check the rain gauge, and amble back to computer. Now it is fast boot up. The SanDisk Ultra III is worth what I paid just in not having to wait around for boot up. Other functions other faster as well, i bought this at Best Buy on sale and if they ever put that sale on again, I will buy two more to put in my other laptops.
