I use Windows based Quickbooks and Microsoft Explorer 6 in Parallels on my Macbook Pro (mid-2012) and it took forever to launch with the hard drive that came with the Macbook. It took long enough that I only launched Parallels and Windows when I absolutely had to have it. Now the whole thing launches with Windows in about 15 seconds if windows was suspended when Parallels was closed. Quickbooks can be launched so fast that I don't even worry about launching it if the need is only somewhat desired. I would not be a bit surprised if my 2012 Macbook Pro is quite a bit faster than a brand new machine.

I hadn't imagined this hard drive could make such a difference! It starts up in less than twenty seconds where I before had to wait 3-5 minutes. When I start games or other programs they also respond much faster! Definitely the best money I have spend on a computer!

WORKS AS ADVERTISED

IT WAS A CINCH TO INSTALL AND LOAD TOOK ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO INSTALL AND A LITTLE OVER 1.0 HOUR TO TRANSFER THE PROGRAMS FROM THE OLD HARD DRIVE.
