I originally visited Best Buy to purchase a Samsung EVO drive at the recommendation of a friend. Since I couldn't find the EVO drive I chose the Sandisk. So far it's running great and I haven't had any trouble out of the device. It shortened Windows boot time significantly but I don't believe I see a noticeable increase in time loading games. For that reason, I gave it 4 stars.

After replacing a regular drive with this SSD, the performance improved in about 40%. PC now is ready to work in 5 seconds.

I have only been using this for about a month now and all is still well. It was an easy install and I installed Win 7 on my win8 touchscreen laptop and everything works great. With this SSD and ram upgrade PC is better than before and I personally prefer Win7 touchscreen experience over win8 or 8.1 tried 10 but had to go back to 7 since it is still just a better OS for me. If you never tried win 7 on a touchscreen don't worry, I have changed Toshiba's and Asus laptops and all went well, next is HP to get win7.

a lot faster than your standard sata drive and a lot more reliable. this is my second drive I've bought and they are just great.

I believe right now, the SSD prices are different from when I purchased them, but this should still apply. I'm no drive enthusiast by any means, but I do require high spec components for gaming and data analysis. I would have liked to get an NVMe drive, but my budget was constrained at the time of building. So I grabbed this drive instead. It's worked really well for me so far, no complaints. NVMe IS faster, but in most applications, even in most gaming scenarios, it probably won't matter.

Between myself and my clients I've probably purchased and installed at least 10 of these drives. These are my 'go to' SSD when breathing life in to an older or cheaper machine. Installing this eliminates any bottleneck with the hard drive and for most people buys them a few more years of life on their machine. Not to mention, with no moving parts the can be a little harder on their machine without worrying about data loss. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this drive to anyone looking for a budget friendly SSD.

I have purchased two of these in the past 6 months, both from Best Buy. The first one for my son's 2012 13" MacBook Pro and now for my old Win 7 desktop. In both cases things went very smoothly. Boot times have dropped drastically and programs launch much faster on both computers. I'm sold on the performance of SSD's. I'll have all my family computers updated to SSD's in the next month or two. I chose this SSD because of the positive reviews and the cost/performance ratio of the good sale price.

Needed to increase the performance of an older desktop still rocking a mechanical drive and I'm happy to say that this sped things up in a major way. Now booting into Windows is quick and the OS loads up quickly as well. Everything is more responsive in general. Programs open quicker and large files copy over faster as well. If your machine is feeling a little sluggish and you are using a mechanical HD then switching to an SSD might be the upgrade you need.

Used this drive to replace a sata spinning drive in my laptop. Laptop boots in less than 8 seconds to Windows 10. Fast drive!

What's not to like... over 500MB/sec read AND write speed, SATA 3 (6 Gb/sec), >80K IO/sec and a 3 year warranty. The only thing that would make it better is if it did closer to 100K IO/sec, but it's still a great drive.
