The ssd drive was very easy to install and the speed of the drive has made it a new laptop.

My Dell laptop had gotten really slow and the drive activity was constant. Replacing the drive with the SSD was a quick, easy, and affordable fix. It doesn't come with cloning software!

My computer is so much faster to load and run faster. The only thing I 've noticed since install the disk is my computer get hot when my battery is at 100% and it has never done that before.

Moving to an SSD significantly improved Win7 bootup. I have a lot of stuff that starts up and with a hard drive my laptop was basically unusable for a couple minutes. So startup was apparently very disk intensive. I also notice Word docs open much more quickly and IDE shuts down much more quickly. However, I have not seen significant performance improvement during heavy use with multiple IDE and other development tools active.

I bought this SSD based on reviews. I bought a new Dell laptop with I5 processor. It has 16gb memory and 1tb hard drive. It took forever to boot up. I replaced the hard drive with the SSD. Now startup and shut down happens quickly. Happy with this purchase. One more thing, it does not come with software. You can download the dashboard on their site. Addittionally, the cloning device is linked on the dashboard.

I picked this up to replace the stock hard drive in my brand new computer. Clone the old one to the new and enjoy a new computing experience. SOOOO much faster it isn't even funny.

Awesome drive, but the tools you can download are lacking a bit in terms of functionality. if you need to clone a drive you might want to make sure you have some software for it.

I use this in my Atomos Ninja II HDMI video recorder / monitor. The memory is fast. It works well on my Mac with Final Cut. It also works equally well with my Windows computer.

Great performance for the price! Booting up is a fraction of the time over a normal hard drive!

I bought this to replace the aging regular hard drive I had Windows installed on. The computer went from taking a minute to boot and having to wait about five minutes after startup to be usable, to booting up in about 20 seconds and being usable immediately. I've moved my save game files to this hard drive as well - in Fallout 4, I can now navigate the main menu screen faster than the game engine can load the data.

i benchmarked it last night. It measured over 500 mbps read and write. I think the read was close to 600. I also was benchmarking a smaller Intel ssd 500 series and it ran at about half the write speed and less than the Sandisk read speed. I've purchased about 6 of these in the last few months and they have all held up well. I have not had any TRIM issues or failures. They are amazing value also. Lot's of GB for the $.

Got this SSD on sale and it works great. Having 480Gb to work with helps out immensely.
