SSD to be installed. This was a gift and Haven't heard yet on the install.

It's a hair slower than my Samsung 850 Pro, but after 20 month, it's a fraction of the cost. The only down-side to the selection of the Sandisk product is that the management tool, Dashboard, can only execute on display of specific resolutions in Windows 10, unless you disable the display scaling under the compatibility troubleshooter? Not exactly the thing a novice needing the tool to manage over-provisioning is likely to want to do.

I purchased this for a short body to my old laptop. Man what a difference! No problems moving over my data. Blazing fast. Working great.

I bought this SSD drive to update my old traditional cylindrical drive. Bought the additional adapter for a 2.5 to 3.5 inch drive for the PC. Installed it and works great so far. I do not know if there will be any issues due to the machine being 5 years old.
