Good drive at an awesome price

What a difference from the stock 7200 hard drive! Apps load instantly. Not as fast as a Samsung Evo but half the price and still getting above 350 write/read speeds. Highly recommend it

expect faster start-up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced what was diagnosed as a failing hard drive with the Sandisk Ultra 480 GB SSD. Now I'm experiencing ultra fast start up and web loading pages (at least compared to my old hard drive). The only issue I had was with registering the SSD with Sandisk. The web site registration did not work (either by manual entry of the serial number or copy and paste from the system report), so after corresponding with Sandisk, I had to open the laptop, take the SSD out and take a photo of the serial number and email it to Sandisk for them to complete the registration. That was time consuming and frustrating. Despite that annoyance, the SSD is performing well and was on sale, so I have no complaints.
