    I don't know how to best rate this. I put this in a Late 2011 Mac Book Pro to possible speed things up and give it new life. I think it worked. SSD are always dropping in price, so be prepared for that. It was easy to transfer data, and the associate at Best Buy was very helpful. I will replace other HD's later with this brand.

    I used the Apricorn EZ Gig SATA 3 Software cloning kit which worked perfectly. My laptop before the SSHD upgrade took a bit over 3 minutes to boot windows 10. After the upgrade and clone with no software changes, I am booting up in lees than 30 seconds!! Worth the upgrade, so I did my wife's notebook with the same results.

    A great solid state drive at a great price. The Samsung 850 Evo is slightly better, but generally it is a bit more expensive and the performance difference in real world use is not that big. Sandisk has a good drive here.

    Not as fast as the top performers but any SSD blows away any mechanical drive for speed. Slowly upgrading all my many machines to SSD.
