Easy install, running smooth, didn't have any issues. Just keep in mind it doesn't come with any cables, so if you don't have the required Sata cables lying around, pick those up before trying to do the install

Sandisk has always been at the top of my choices for memory because of both quality and value. The 480 GB SSD I got for my desktop is no different. I love how fast it boots my system and even after installing windows 7 Home on my computer I still had plenty of room for intense applications like Photoshop. Great SSD for the price.

These drives are fast! The Sandisk brand has finally matched speed with the fastest Samsung drives, but for much less money! A worthwhile upgrade to any older computer, desktop or laptop. Add one of these before you spend a bunch of money on a new computer.

Replacing an old hard drive with a new solid state drive will amaze you with the performance increase on boot up and accessing files. This plus increasing ram will breathe new life into a laptop. The price on these drives has reached the point it is a very good upgrade. This particular drive has performed perfectly so far.

Bought this drive to replace a SATA drive in my desktop computer. It is much faster booting windows 10 and in general. Would recommend.

Performance boost over the traditional HDD is dramatic. There is no going back! Some experience cloning and/or installing of O.S is mandatory. Certain details can mean the difference between an hour long swap or a days long swap. Know how to clone a drive with freely available tools, and proper settings. BS=64k ????? :D

The SanDisk - Ultra II 480GB Internal Sata Solid State Drive is a great upgrade choice for any computer with a standard hard drive. Extremely fast boots and great overall performance gains. The SSD makes my hard drive the fastest component in my system instead of being tied for slowest. The video is still slowest, but that doesn't get in the way of loading things into memory. Nothing can compensate for slow internet speeds though.

Bought a brand new dell Inspiron 5000 series with a 1tb 5400 rpm HDD installed. Was able to clone Windows 10 over in 30 minutes and installed inside the laptop within 30 minutes. Went from a 1 minute 40 second boot up to under 7-8 seconds. Very happy with purchase. SSD are a MUST for any above average user.

Replaced the hard drive in my Macbook Pro. The SSD was easy to install. The performance improvement of the Mac is impressive.

I brought my laptop in for a checkup and discovered that the hard drive failed. The Geek squad suggested a solid state replacement for the failed drive. I have been pleased with the quick response of the new drive. Also solid state runs quietly and the laptop does not heat up as with the old hard drive.

After reading some reviews and the fact it was on sale. I had a "green" hard drive, well going from that to this, all I can say is WOW!. Boot times are excellent and programs load up very fast. I did a fresh install of the OS and it went off without a hitch. Great product and the price was right.

Ive had a solid state before, but this one blows it out of the water. Makes my computer turn on really fast. Not only do i have more room, but everything works fast.

$150 for a 1/2 TB SSD, not too bad. Been waiting for months for the price to drop far enough in order to upgrade my 120gb hard drive, which was constantly out of space. Been in service a couple weeks and so far working well and as expected. Should have a long life, and good quality from Sandisk

My laptop hard drive failed all of a sudden and I needed to have it replaced. This SSD had decent reviews, okay speed (still way faster than 7200rpm harddrive), and a reasonable price. Since I've installed it in my computer it has been great! I was unsure at first because this isn't the fastest SSD but WOW. My computer starts in under 5-7 seconds, programs start as soon as I click something. Games load faster. This ssd is totally worth getting if you are looking to replace a hard drive right now. Also make sure you check around online for cheaper prices because you can get it price matched at Best Buy (which is what I did).

My desktop now boots up in seconds. This has made a world of difference. I'm a big fan of SSD and will be sure that any computer I purchase moving forward. My MacBook and Lenovo laptops both have SSD drives so I wanted to see how this would improve my desktop. Great prices available now too.

It's an SSD with consistent speeds of around 400mbs read *AND* write, had over 450GB of space & was on sale for $130. What more could I ask for? If your PC needs a Storage Device (at SSD speeds) & you're tired of only being able to afford little 60-120GB models, this is the SSD for you.

My HP Pavilion dv6 laptop is 5 years old and was starting to run sluggish. I was worried about the HD failing and replaced it with this SanDisk Ultra II SSD. I've never replaced a HD before and purchased the Apricorn cable and cloning software and tried it myself. It was an easy process and worked perfectly. My computer is like new and faster than ever. It used to take about 3 minutes to boot and now does it in about 20 seconds. I did read other reviews and this seemed like a popular SSD and I would have to agree with the other reviewers. Since I'm not a techie I can't speak to any technical issues other than it works very well!
