The hard drive install was very easy and fast. It has drastically improved my computer's speed and performance.

I installed it in my ho x360 with Beats by Dre speakers. Yes, a NEW computer. It was painfully slow for its specs and the bottle neck is the hard drive. I cloaned the drive with the software address inside and swapped drives. Way faster than before. Plus got it on sale at 109 bucks.

I was worried because I had never replaced a laptop harddrive before, but this was very easy and I'm loving the end result. My Macbook Pro now boots very quickly and I'm much happier with my computer than I was before.

I bought this drive for my desktop system drive. Since it is for laptops it did not come with mounting hardware for a tower but I already had what I needed so that was not a problem (plus there should be no problem with just setting it inside of the case as long as it is relatively stable). Installation was easy (though I don't know how hard this would be to install in a laptop). So far it works great. Really speeds up boot time and opening of software. I store my files on a standard hard drive so that is the bottleneck now as far as getting files to open. The price was right. Pleased with the purchase.

This is a very fast drive. I am using it to transfer movie files from my primary drive and using this as a data drive. Initial transfer is around 500mbps but drops to about 200 sustained. Still very fast for the price:performance and I trust the brand to be reliable.

replaced an old hdd in a 6 year old computer with an i7, the speed increase was huge. It boots in seconds and the computer runs better than it ever did new

I replaced this Sandisk Ultra II 480 GB for Dell laptop. The startup decreased from 2 minutes 30 seconds to....just 30 seconds. Awesome improvement and my operations has been faster by at least 5 times.

I have a gaming laptop with a standard hard drive and it was not able to handle my games so I purchase to this hard drive to run parallel with my existing hard drive and now I'm able to play any game I want on steam with no issues at all

I changed my old 7200rpm HD and it is great improvement. It was great discount but the read and write speed is comparable to another samsung SSD (a little bit slower but it is fine). I bought both Samsung and Sandisk and put them in one system to test first. I didn't give a full 5 star because it got hot and makes fan spinning more often than the other SSD. But overall, it is great value and good product from old harddrive.

I purchased two of these SSD's to update two different laptops. The difference between a normal laptop hard drive and an SSD is the difference in going though a large city in morning rush or going through the same large city at 2 AM with no traffic!

The possibility of buying an very inexpensive laptop and adding an SSD hard drive is ideal. The computer came with a ton of advantages but was extremely slow hence the low cost. But the SSD stepped it up to top tier laptops. Thanks

I purchased it because the price was just a little bit more than its cheaper brother, but with better specifications, at least, on paper. Well, it turned to be a nice one: very low power consumption, very light in weight (lighter than other brands), excellent performance and stable. There are better brands with better specs, but his one can stand for itself and compete with them. You will not be disappointed.

I used this SSD drive to replace one of the original hard drive came with the desk top. It is very easy to install and it boot up the speed of my computer tremendously. Now this old computer runs a lot faster than some of my other newer devices.

If you need to upgrade any computer SSD is the first thing to do, this drive fit easily into m DELL Inspiron 5558 laptop. Now performance is 10x better. Price point was right on as well.

Sandisk has been around the flash business a long time. Great speeds for the price and a solid long lasting SSD. I did not get the advertised speeds with this SSD but it was fairly close. I will continue to support sandisk!

If you want to get better performance out of your PC then this is a no brainer. If you have more than one hard drive on the PC, then only put the OS on the SSD and your data on the conventional hard drive. That will give you the best speed.

This thing has been so awesome since I installed it compared to my hdd. I can't believe I wired this long to upgrade. This thing is a monster and at this price point, it was a steal.

Couldn't beat the price on sale, was looking to replace the 500GB drive that came in my laptop. Installation was relatively easy, but I've been working with PC's since 1998. Seen some complain it didn't come with software to clone. Actually if you go to SanDisk's website they do make the utility to monitor the drive free, and it has access to software to clone just once. Cloning software often isn't cheap. Took me about 75 minutes to clone from my old drive, didn't realize I tapped into my USB 2.0 port instead of 3.0. May had saved me some time. Yes I do have a 3.0 USB bridge. So far I highly recommend the drive, we'll see in about six months.

If I'd known what a difference and SSD would make as my OS drive, I'd have switched long ago! The only "speedbump" is getting Win 10 to recognize that I want my personal files on my D-Drive instead of in C:\Users\...

Quieter, faster, reliable so far, for mu use, easy to installl, had tools to easily copy old drive over. SSD is the way to go
