Bought this one because it was one of the few available in store at best buy that was near the size I was looking for. Was hoping for one in the 750 gig ballpark. Overall performance isn't anything to be crazy about. It is faster than a HDD but difference isn't too noticeable. Since it was an emergency replacement, for what it is, it's a decent drive and the price was good.

Even though I am all thumbs and toes, installation was simple and effective. The proof is that the HD is on the computer generating this review. Computer now is faster than ever in booting, and runs extraordinarily cool.

I bought this drive to upgrade an older laptop with a failing hdd. I'm always amazed at what an upgrade an ssd is to a computer, and this one did not disappoint. Performance is outstanding, and the price couldn't be beat.

Bought this drive to augment my primary 250GB SSD. This drive is super fast, was a breeze to install and gives me double again the storage. I have it configured as the data drive. My original drive is for O/S & programs.

Let's be honest, there are a lot of SSDs now, but this one is a good mix of performance and price. I run two of these in family member notebook computers (Dell Latitudes) with no issues, and lightning-fast boot times.

I had an SSD drive installed in my computer with windows 10 and the startup is 6 seconds from a cold start to desktop. Love the response time. Super fast and a must buy in any other computer I would buy in the future.

Mirrored my Toshiba Win7 laptop HDD to this using Macrium Reflect, and swapped it in. Huge impact on boot time, and program load time. Made the machine feel young again. Runs cooler too. Great upgrade, nice price.

This is great unit for the price point. I purchased this to replace the stock HDD in my gaming laptop. I have noticed a HUGE difference in load times and would suggest this to anyone looking for a speed increase.

My computer is a 2011 HP Envy. I came to Best Buy with a crashed hard drive Geek Squad repaired and replaced the hard drive with San disk ultra II. My computer although out dated operating system runs much faster

Before I put in this SSD it took minutes for my laptop to log in. After I installed the SSD and turned it on, I turned by back for just seconds and when I turned to the laptop again it was completely booted up.

I bought this to replace a 500gb hard drive in my MacBook Pro (a late 2011 model). Replacing the hard drive was quite easy and it seems to have speeded up the boot process. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Purchased this drive mainly because it was on sale. You really can't go wrong with a Sandisk. I upgraded my MacBook Pro with this SSD and 16gb of ram. Everything went smoothly and drive is running like a champ.

replaced 500 gig hd with this 480 gig SSD. Greeat replacement. Easy to image to and boots and runs much quicker. This is being used as C drive in desktop.

works very well even on older home built system. it works so well that i plan to upgrade my system to be able and get the full benefit of this Hard Drive.

The drive was easy to install and setup. I restored my system from a smaller capacity SSD. The image copy process was flawless and very fast which is why I work with SSD, for the speed and reliability.

Disk access is usually the limiting factor on performance. About all you could do about it was buy more RAM to minimize disk access - until now. This solid state hard drive is many times faster than the old disks and has no moving parts to wear out. Restarts, data moves and program launches are unbelievably fast. I will never buy another PC without a solid state drive!
