Now there's a huge gap between wall and furniture that wasn't there before, and I need to shop for a flush-mount cord to replace the poorly-designed one that comes with this kit.

Mounting and communication

One was mounted that was to short to do what we had asked to be done. They swapped it out with a longer one, improved a bit but still not long enough. They mounted it on the wrong wall. Had it been mounted on the correct wall, it would have worked perfectly the first time so I was left with a bit of sheetrock work and painting. More communication up front to fully understand what was asked for, what is expected so that it can be resolved in advance of putting holes into the walls.
