    A good product if you are working with an unobstructed standard 4.5" hollow wall. The electrical box is unnecessarily deep and does not work in a 2" basement wall

    We needed one of these last minute and picked it up at the local Best Buy. It is a good setup for a homeowner but if you want the install done correctly I would have an electrician put an outlet behind the TV. Or I would find a version of this that allows you to run romex in the wall to it.

    This was a good idea presented by the sales person but when the geek squad arrived he couldn't install it. Said our windows were too close to the fireplace. We were charged for the installation of it but had to take it back and only received the money back for the unit not the installation.

It is designed to fit in a standard 2x4 framed wall, so if you do not have standard studs this may not work for you. We do have another smaller option, but this also is designed to fit in 2x4 studs (item WMC701).
