BEWARE: WIRE VISIBLE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TV STAND
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm writing this review because the way this is advertised is misleading and has the potential to cause a lot of confusion and dissatisfaction for people who do not understand what this product does. This is a GREAT SOLUTION IF YOU HAVE A TV STAND or some other furniture sitting on the floor below your mounted television. If you do NOT have any furniture below your television, please know that AN UGLY WHITE WIRE WILL BE VISIBLE along the floor because this product only hides the in-wall part of the wires, and NOT all the wires. Because the outlet is still near the floor, you will still see the part of the wire near the floor that plugs into the wall. IF YOU TRULY WANT ALL WIRES TO BE INVISIBLE, you will need to have a licensed electrician (read: $$$$$) to install another outlet behind the TV so the power cords can truly be hidden behind the TV and not inside the wall. I have received multiple estimates from electricians and the going rate for my area is about $200 to install the outlet. So if you truly want an invisible look, add $200 to the price of this project and don't expect Best Buy installers to do the work, because they are not electricians. I repeat: YOU WILL NEED AN ELECTRICIAN IF YOU WANT THE WIRES TO BE COMPLETELY INVISIBLE! This fact is obscured not only by Best Buy, but also by every other "quick TV installer" out there. Even if you call Best Buy and ask, most of the telephone call center people are not aware of this fact and they will swear to you that this is an invisible solution, and trust me, IT IS NOT. Look closely at the pictures and you will see about a 12" wire at the bottom of every application. If you have a TV stand or some other furniture, then this is not an issue. But if you do not, then it very much is an issue and you don't want to find out at the end that this will not work for your needs.

As you mention, and as is shown in the pictures, there will still be cords near the floor that would need to be covered by furniture, a basket, plant, etc... in order for the solution to be truly invisible.
